There are some WWE Superstars who are a perfect fit for a tag team and others who are destined to become stars on their own. Finn Balor used to be a singles star but is now teaming up with JD McDonagh. The Judgment Day members are the reigning World Tag Team Champions on RAW.

The Miz has been in successful tag teams but is at his best when he is on his own. Sometimes, a tag team needs to be broken up for a star to get their chance to shine.

Listed below are five tag team stars who deserve a singles run in WWE.

Top WWE star blasted, compared to Winnie the Pooh RIGHT HERE

Ludwig Kaiser is currently a member of Imperium but received a pep-talk from World Heavyweight Champion Gunther during last night's edition of WWE RAW. The Ring General encouraged his stablemate to be his own man and to stop speaking for him.

Ludwig took Gunther's words to heart and decided to take action. He attacked both Sheamus and Bron Breakker during last night's Intercontinental Championship match, which ended in a disqualification. Kaiser appears to be on the verge of becoming a singles star, which is well deserved.

#4. Xavier Woods should become a singles star

The New Day's Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have not been on the same page in recent weeks. Last night during WWE RAW, Woods and Kingston had a conversation backstage. Alpha Academy's Otis tried to advise them, and Woods went off on him.

Xavier Woods then shared that The New Day would face Otis and Akira Tozawa in a tag team match next week, and Kofi Kingston didn't appear thrilled about the idea.

Woods has been teasing a heel turn for months and deserves to become a singles star in the company. The New Day has had a great run, but it could be time to finally split them up after ten years as a faction.

#3. Austin Theory should become a singles star again

Austin Theory is a former United States Champion who had an impressive victory over John Cena at WWE WrestleMania 39. However, he was unable to capitalize on the momentum following his victory over Cena at The Show of Shows and is now in a tag team with Grayson Waller on SmackDown known as A-Town Down Under.

Theory can potentially be a massive star in the company, and Randy Orton recently suggested that the 27-year-old could become a world champion someday. To reach his full potential, the former United States Champion must become a singles star again.

#2. Montez Ford deserves a chance as a singles star after 9 years in WWE

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are an entertaining tag team known as The Street Profits. The popular duo battled Motor City Machine Guns for the WWE Tag Team Championship this past Friday night on SmackDown, but Tommaso Ciampa interfered in the match, causing it to end via disqualification.

Ford has suggested that he has been frustrated with his bookings in recent weeks. In the months ahead, the veteran could finally be given the chance to become a singles star, resulting in the end of The Street Profits.

#1. Tommaso Ciampa should leave #DIY to become a singles star

Tommaso Ciampa has been getting very frustrated as of late on WWE SmackDown. The veteran is obsessed with capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship, while his tag team partner, Johnny Gargano, does not match his intensity. Ciampa interfered in the title match between Motor City Machine Guns and The Street Profits and shoved Gargano to the canvas this past Friday night.

Ciampa is a former two-time NXT Champion but has never won a singles title on the main roster. The 39-year-old excels at portraying a heel and may snap due to #DIY's lack of success on SmackDown in the weeks ahead.
