A fifth star to leave NJPW for the WWE?, 'Boss' approves of the NJPW stars

Rocky Romero to join the ex-NJPW gang in the WWE?

Following the increased hype and talks around NJPW stars A J Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura leaving the largest Japanese wrestling promotion to join the WWE, reports say that former ROH star Rocky Romero too is on his way out of NJPW.

The former ROH tag team champ Romero is a star in Japan and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer reports that he will be looking at a trainer role in the WWE. While this is the word, there is no confirming the rumour as of now.

However it is to be noted that Romero was in attendance for one of the recent WWE NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University. It would be interesting to see another name attached to the list of the ex-NJPW stars in the pro-wrestling free agent market.

Adding to the talks going on, current WWE Diva Sasha Banks tweeted a photo of her custom made Bullet Club-inspired gear to Nakamura today:

As we reported, the chances of AJ Styles and Doc Gallows coming to the WWE as soon as the upcoming Royal Rumble, is much higher than the chances of Nakamura and Anderson, who are still contractually obligated by the NJPW promotion.
