The Motor City Machine Guns are currently free agents and could be heading to WWE. The multi-time Champions reportedly turned down a deal from AEW, keeping them on the open market.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have been biding their time for the perfect moment to emerge in one of the world's biggest wrestling promotions. If they're not going to AEW, NJPW may be out of the running due to the working relationship between the two companies.
WWE always handles debuts well, as evidenced by the usage of Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and Jacob Fatu this year. If Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have inked deals with Triple H, they could debut for WWE in one of the next four ways.

#4. They could appear at the SummerSlam kickoff event
A new staple of WWE under the TKO merger is kickoff shows for premium live events. While most are just press opportunities for opponents to speak one last time before squaring off, the events can be must-watch.
The WrestleMania 40 kickoff show had a heated showdown between the Bloodline (the Rock and Roman Reigns) and the team of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. By showing up at the event in Cleveland, they could kickstart a feud with a current team.
Since the tag team titles aren't on the line at SummerSlam, having a newly signed tag team show up would instantly get eyes on the division. With the pedigree of Shelley and Sabin, the other teams on RAW and SmackDown would instantly be put on notice.
#3. They could appear at SummerSlam in Cleveland
Brock Lesnar, Bayley, and other stars have returned to WWE at past SummerSlam events. Bayley came back from injury with Dakota Kai and IYO SKY by her side.
With the eyes of the wrestling world on Cleveland for The Biggest Party of the Summer, having Shelley and Sabin walk out during the event would be a huge moment.
There aren't any tag team bouts booked for the show, so showcasing one of the greatest teams of all time would be a good move. During SummerSlam, they could even encounter a team like A Town Down Under or another heel duo.
#2. The Motor City Machine Guns take part in the Great American Bash
NXT's Great American Bash is a two-week event that bookends SummerSlam weekend. The first night is Tuesday with Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women's title against Thea Hail. Joe Hendry will also give his debut concert on the first night.
It feels like Axiom, and Nathan Frazer may defend the tag team titles against MSK on Night Two. The debuting Motor City Machine Guns could confront whoever emerges with the belts.
It would easily set up a huge feud for the Champions and add a historic tag team to the ranks of NXT. Shelley appeared in NXT once before alongside Kushida for the Dusty Classic.
#1. A big WWE debut on RAW or SmackDown after SummerSlam
The episodes of RAW and SmackDown following big shows like WrestleMania or SummerSlam are usually stacked. New feuds emerge for Champions, and stars often return from injury.
SummerSlam may have some big surprises in store, so saving a big debut for SmackDown or RAW could be in the cards. The tag team scene can always use new blood, and The Motor City Machine Guns would transition easily to any brand's ranks.
Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga debuted on SmackDown between events. If they are signed to the company, WWE should take advantage and feature the multi-time Champs.
