Monday Night RAW hasn't exactly been peaceful under Adam Pearce's reign in recent months. As the general manager, he has seen a lot of chaos unfold every week on Monday night. This week might be no different, as the 46-year-old may be forced to come out and make something "official." The authority figure could announce an important Triple Threat Match for Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
The next big show on the calendar, Saturday Night's Main Event, is expected to be a grand affair. But so far only one match has been confirmed—a grudge match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Title. Well, Adam Pearce could add another grudge match to the card tonight on RAW, featuring World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor.
Adam Pearce might make this official coming off the heels of a very successful Survivor Series: WarGames PLE. One of the major talking points of the event was, of course, the World Heavyweight Championship clash between Gunther and Damian Priest. A clash that went in the favor of The Ring General, thanks to Balor's intervention, which the Austrian wasn't too pleased about. So, if recent history is anything to go by, there is a good chance we see all three men exchange blows tonight on RAW.
Should that prove to be the case, Pearce's hand might be forced, and he could make a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship official. However, this is just speculation at this point.
Adam Pearce will be busy tonight with The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration
While there is no telling if Adam Pearce will have to deal with Gunther, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor tonight, two superstars he will be preoccupied with are Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. After all, WWE has big plans for tonight's RAW, where fans will witness The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration.
It's a huge milestone for arguably one of the greatest factions in WWE history. However, things could take a turn for the worse, considering the rapidly deteriorating dynamics between Woods and Kingston. The multi-time tag team champions had an intense verbal altercation last week, and a nostalgic moment like the faction's 10th anniversary may not be enough to defuse tension between them.
Regardless, fans are in for what should be an incredible episode of Monday Night RAW. Pearce will certainly have a lot planned. But, considering how things usually go, he might need to make some adjustments on the fly.
