Adam Pearce to bring back former Universal Champion for a title match at Survivor Series? Potential WWE RAW return explored

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has been quite busy and still has a lot of issues to deal with. One of them is who will be the next challenger to Bron Breakker's Intercontinental Championship.

Breakker reclaimed the title after defeating Jey Uso, who left RAW temporarily to move to SmackDown and become part of The Bloodline Civil War. Bron Breakker had a backstage segment with Adam Pearce, where he threatened him to find his next opponent soon, with the RAW GM saying that he had been working on that and that the next challenger would be announced soon.

This challenger could be the former Universal Champion Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men has been out for six weeks after he suffered a torn groin injury in a Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed.

However, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling took to X and revealed that Braun Strowman has fully recovered from the injury and is expected to return to Monday Night RAW.

Should this happen, and given that he is a face, he could step up and challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Breakker has done a great job as a heel on RAW.

Adam Pearce reacts to Randy Orton's serious injury on SmackDown

Randy Orton has been sidelined indefinitely following an assault and a piledriver from Kevin Owens last Friday on SmackDown. The Viper sustained a serious injury, and WWE didn't provide any timetable for his return.

Meanwhile, Adam Pearce took to his account on X and posted a photo of himself delivering a piledriver, subtly taking a shot at the 14-time World Champion.

Pearce and Orton came face-to-face at Crown Jewel, with the latter hitting the former with an RKO in the middle of the ring. Orton was furious with Kevin Owens, and neither Pearce nor SmackDown GM Nick Aldis were able to stop him.

Going forward, it remains to be seen if The Viper will target the RAW GM again upon his return or will focus entirely on KO. For his part, Adam Pearce has shifted his attention from Randy Orton, as there are a lot of things he has to deal with on the red brand.
