Adam Pearce must announce Damian Priest's next title defense on WWE RAW as the main event of an upcoming PLE

Damian Priest is the 3rd World Heavyweight Champion since it was re-introduced.
Damian Priest won the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL

Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre to become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 40. Earlier this month, he successfully defended his title against Jey Uso at WWE Backlash France.

After losing the title within minutes at 'Mania, The Scottish Warrior has his sights set on it again. He could have secured a shot at Backlash France, but CM Punk cost him a potential victory in a number one contenders match on April 8, 2024. After King and Queen of the Ring on May 25, WWE is set to present another international premium live event on June 15.

Adam Pearce can give a shot to McIntyre at Clash at the Castle 2024 for several reasons.

Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre is main event-worthy

WWE Clash at the Castle is scheduled for June 15, 2024, at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Since it's the first time the company is organizing a premium live event in Scotland, the management will want as many eyes on the product as possible. And of course, with McIntyre hailing from Scotland, fans will flock to the arena to witness him in action.

Besides the fact that McIntyre is from Scotland, it must be noted that the World Heavyweight Championship is an important title. Therefore, it needs to be featured in marquee matches at the promotion's premium live events. Hence, Damian Priest vs. The Scottish Warrior can headline Clash at the Castle 2024.

Drew McIntyre deserves another shot at the title

While the WWE Universe waits for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre to square off inside the ring, The Scottish Warrior should continue to pursue the title. Since The Second City Saint interfered in the number one contenders match in April, McIntyre can claim that he deserves another shot at the gold.

Regardless of the outcome, fans will enjoy a clean title match between The Archer of Infamy and McIntyre. As a result, Pearce must book Damian Priest to defend his championship against the former WWE Champion in Scotland.

The World Heavyweight Championship deserves more representation

Seth Rollins was a fighting champion when he held the championship between May 2023 and April 2024. After Triple H reintroduced the title, Rollins ensured it was represented on big platforms.

Now that the belt is with Damian Priest, he needs to consistently defend it on house shows, weekly programs, and at premium live events in the United States and outside. Cody Rhodes will put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Logan Paul in Saudi Arabia, and Priest can defend his championship against McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.
