WWE programming has become increasingly chaotic in recent weeks, with unsanctioned attacks, backstage brawls, and more. General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have had their hands full managing their respective shows.
This was evident during the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. There's now a possibility that Adam Pearce might suspend Seth 'Freakin' Rollins following recent events.
As the show opened, Rollins launched a surprise backstage attack on his arch-rival Bronson Reed, leading to a brawl that spilled into the ring. Pearce was unable to contain the chaos at ringside.
Pearce has made it clear he doesn't tolerate such disorder, which has led fans to wonder if Rollins will face suspension for initiating the brawl. However, with Crown Jewel just a couple of weeks away, Adam Pearce may opt to have the two settle their differences in the ring.
It's possible he will soon announce Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed for Crown Jewel with a condition of no-contact between the two competitors before the much-anticipated bout, similar to what was done before CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's Hell in a Cell bout.
Seth Rollins could have a major feud lined up after Bronson Reed, according to WWE Analyst
Seth Rollins is currently engaged in a heated rivalry with Bronson Reed, who sidelined him a few weeks ago. According to Sam Roberts, Rollins may soon turn his attention to Cody Rhodes.
Roberts noted that The Visionary has yet to express his feelings about Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns, especially after everything Rollins did for Rhodes earlier this year in the lead-up to WrestleMania 40, which helped The American Nightmare finally finish his story against Reigns.
Roberts suggested that Rollins may feel overlooked, believing he hasn’t been given a fair shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship by Rhodes, a storyline that could be explored in the near future.
"We haven't really talked to him about how he(Seth Rollins) feels about everything going on with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns right now. How he feels about being the ultimate 'Shield.' How he feels about the fact that he handed Cody Rhodes that opportunity; the ability to beat Roman Reigns. He hasn't been offered a shot at the title. So I think there is a lot on the bone with Seth Rollins," Sam Roberts said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Seth Rollins moving forward.
