R-Truth secured a match for his tag team partner, The Miz, against Bronson Reed during the latest episode of WWE RAW. Despite a valiant effort from The Miz, Reed ultimately secured a dominant victory with his finisher, The Tsunami.

After the match, Reed climbed to the top rope again, intent on continuing his assault on The Miz. However, R-Truth came out to save his friend, only to be taken out by Reed instead. The Australian Giant then delivered six consecutive Tsunamis on R-Truth while RAW General Manager Adam Pearce watched, furious and helpless. All signs indicate a punishment looming for Bronson Reed, potentially even a suspension.

Pearce had already fined Reed last week after he launched a similar attack on Seth Rollins during Monday Night RAW, which led to WWE announcing that Rollins would be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time due to bruised ribs.

With this latest attack on R-Truth, Pearce may need to take decisive action to ensure the safety of his roster, possibly suspending Reed to send a strong message.

Former WWE writer questions Bronson Reed's new role

Bronson Reed launched a surprise attack on Seth Rollins last week, taking out The Visionary with not one, not two, but six devastating Tsunamis in one of the most talked-about segments of the year.

However, Vince Russo is convinced this angle wasn't designed to get Bronson Reed over. In a recent tweet, the veteran suggested that this was done only to keep Seth Rollins busy before his eventual feud with CM Punk.

He predicted that Rollins would emerge even stronger from this program while Reed would be sent back to obscurity once it was over.

"Seth needed an opponent before he gets to Punk. The WWE rolled out the EXACT Nakamura "I know about your back" Playbook, with Bronson Reed. Reed is an opponent for Seth---that's all. At the end of the Day Rollins gets over, and Reed goes back to obscurity---just like Nakamura did. That's my issue. A Good Writer gets EVERYBODY over---win, lose, or draw. Understand?" Russo wrote.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Bronson Reed moving forward.
