#4 Austin Aries
AEW's roster, in general, composes a lot of young talents who are relatively new to the world of pro wrestling. As much as the company wants established stars, they also need experienced veterans who could guide these stars of the future to higher levels.
One guy who can provide them with both of the above services is the Greatest Man Who EVer Lived, Austin Aries. Having been a major part of TNA and ROH, Aries had a disappointing run in WWE. Although he is known to be a guy with issues, he still is a great athlete and wrestler.
Having a heel of the level of Aries can help AEW deepen their roster and provide some much needed dynamics to it.
#3 and #2 Enzo and Cass
The team of the former Enzo Amore and Big Cass - now known in the independent circuit as nZo and CaZXL - had a pretty decent run in WWE before being released by the company due to different reasons. Cass, in special, was considered to have a bright future with the company, but the 7-footer somehow was unable to generate faith in the higher-ups.
After initially embarking on their journeys outside WWE separately, the two came back together to invade ROH's G1 Supercard earlier this year. Being two of the most charismatic individuals, the two can become a huge part of AEW's Tag Team roster. The people in lead at AEW are known to take tag team wrestling very seriously and, with some proper direction, these two could thrive in this new wrestling promotion.
Enzo is arguably one of the best trash-talkers in the industry currently, and his pairing with Cass has been pretty successful in the past. Cass, on the other hand, has the advantage of his size and looks. The two together check all the boxes of having the potential to be the inaugural AEW Tag Team Champions (and you can't teach that!)
