Jon Moxley faced MJF in the main event

The main event of AEW All Out saw Jon Moxley defend the world title against MJF. The Paradigm Shift was banned from this match and this came into play throughout. Moxley was just unable to finish MJF off without it and for his part, the challenger focused his offense on Moxley's left arm and shoulder to soften it up for the Salt of the Earth, MJF's version of the Fujiwara Armbar.

MJF threw everything he had at Moxley but the champion just wouldn't stay down at AEW All Out. The finish to the match saw the Paradigm Shift come into play again. Wardlow tossed the Dynamite Diamond ring at MJF but this time he bungled the catch and dropped the ring. With the referee distracted by Wardlow who was now on the apron, Jon Moxley used this chance to nail MJF with the Paradigm Shift and pin him for the win. The match told a great story and Moxley breaking out the Paradigm Shift at the end when he saw MJF trying to cheat makes perfect sense.
