#2 The Inner Circle should defeat The Elite
AEW Double or Nothing will see another chapter written in the rivalry between The Elite and The Inner Circle.
The two stables have been feuding on and off throughout the promotion's existence. This time the two groups will meet in a Stadium Stampede match.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
The "Stadium" concerned is TIAA Bank Field, the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, and is connected to Daily's Place - where the rest of the AEW Double or Nothing card will take place.
A first for AEW, the match seems likely to be similar to a standard street fight, except that it will unfold in a venue that usually hosts American Football.
Now, however, is not the time for The Elite to get the better of Chris Jericho's group. Before the current world health situation unfolded, AEW had been due to debut a War Games-style match known as Blood and Guts.
AEW had hyped the match with the tagline: "2 rings, 1 giant covered cage, you know the rest." The match was postponed when AEW had to move all of their shows to a closed set.
The double ring, caged-based bout is the perfect setting for the conclusion of the longest-running feud in AEW history. It may take a while to be able to stage, but it should be in this type of match that The Elite finally triumph.
For this to happen, though, The Inner Circle must continue to frustrate The Elite by emerging victorious at AEW Double or Nothing.
