I have gone on record many a time to say that I feel that Impact Wrestling puts on a much better show than WWE does on a weekly basis. However, they cannot match WWE's level of production, be it RAW or SmackDown Live.
In this case, Tony Khan, Cody, and the Young Bucks can because they have the financial backing of Shahid Khan, Tony's father. Double or Nothing felt like a big deal with a big production and not just your traditional independent show because of the same reason.

So even though a lot of the guys in the roster may have been unknowns, all of them felt like a huge deal in this grand arena. AEW truly went Double or Nothing with regard to all the specifics of the show.
The Khans can give Vince McMahon, quite literally, a run of his money.
