One may argue the fact that WWE will always edge out its competition because of its distribution. Well, here is something that a lot of people may not know. With TNT and ITV, AEW may actually be available in a lot more homes than WWE is right now.
When the weekly product actually begins in the United Kingdom on ITV4, it will be available to a sum total of 27 million viewers. Why this is a staggering number is because WWE will be on BT Sport in the UK, which is only available to 2.19 million viewers. One assumes that AEW will also work out similar distribution deals in markets across the world.
This is not to say that WWE is done for, but it's cause enough for the company to be worried for sure. With WWE's FOX deal approaching, Vince McMahon needs to pull his socks up.
