The two wrestlers were fighting for a shot to face the winner of the Casino Battle Royal, Adam Page, in a bid to become the first-ever AEW World Champion. The fans were behind these stars from the word go. The two did all they could to push each other to the limit.
In the end, we saw Jericho pick up the win after he hit Omega with the Judas Effect. The match received much appreciation from critics and fans alike. This was a great match to end what was a historical night in pro-wrestling and the coming of age of WWE's biggest competitor in the business.

Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
