#4: Chris Jericho and MJF had an entertaining backstage interaction that overshadowed Private Party's underwhelming promo work
This week's edition of WWE RAW was a critically panned episode, but despite the show's quality, it's rare to see stars messing up their delivery or flubbing their lines on WWE TV. The same is not true for AEW Dynamite, where stars are given a lot of room to improvise so as to break apart from a scripted format.
This benefits a veteran like Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite every week. But even someone like Matt Hardy had a little trouble in keeping up with his promo last night. Isiah Kassidy of Private Party cut a promo against Chris Jericho as well.
Kassidy stepped up to take revenge for Matt Hardy's beatdown from last week's AEW Dynamite. He challenged Jericho to a match and asked how it would look if a 23-year old kid humiliated Le Champion on live television.
Kassidy did a fine job on the microphone for an up-and-coming star, but the relatively newer crop of talent on Dynamite need to brush up their skills in order to pose a unique challenge to someone like Chris Jericho, who can also be dubbed as the Promo God at this point in his career.
Thankfully, this example doesn't apply to every young star in AEW, as MJF had a great interaction with Jericho later backstage.
