It does seem like, at this point, either Kenny Omega or Hangman Page will go on to win the tournament that started this week on AEW Dynamite. And this is why it was great to see him win his big match in almost no time at all on AEW Dynamite. Sonny Kiss suffered a crushing defeat but what played out this week was the best-case scenario in terms of the story that is being told right now.
And even Dr. Britt Baker picked up a pretty impressive win on AEW Dynamite and one has to assume that she is inching ever closer to Hikaru Shida. Shida has had a monopoly over the women's division for a while and it's great to see Dr. Baker climb the ranks. Her match on AEW Dynamite didn't last too long either and this is definitely a good thing.
Not every match has to last 20 minutes, and thankfully, AEW Dynamite finally seems cognizant of this fact on their television show.
