AEW Dynamite - Best and worst- Legendary Intercontinental Champion appears, Big issue with the main event match revealed

While it was a good gesture from Chris Jericho to let his good friend Luther wrestle against him in the AEW Dynamite main event to mark his 30th Anniversary, it was painful to watch the man try and keep up with the other three men in the contest. The in-ring product on AEW Dynamite is so good, that anyone who is a step behind is immediately highlighted and it did seem like the man was nervous to wrestle on such a big stage, and it was not a pretty sight.

OOOF Luther had no business being in a main event match. Lackluster main event withstanding, I enjoyed the MJF interaction and the ending credits make me chuckle.Overall a good episode for #Jericho30. Next week's Anniversary Show is stacked. #AEWonTNT #AEWDynamite

While Serpentico was a lot better between the ropes on AEW Dynamite and actually looked like he belonged there, there was absolutely no emotional investment for us in his case, considering that there has been no real build for the main in the flagship All Elite Wrestling program. Not everyone that watches AEW Dynamite also watches AEW Dark and all said and done, this was not the best AEW Dynamite main event match.
