AEW Dynamite kicked off with a battle between two big men in Brian Cage and Will Hobbs, both of whom had a pretty solid showing and both of them set the pace for the men and women that followed. One thing that needs to be praised when it comes to AEW Dynamite, is how they do their opening matches right, every single week. And yes, even though Will Hobbs came up short against 'The Machine' Brian Cage on AEW Dynamite, he still came across as a star.

What can one even say about Brian Cage? Most human beings do not look like him and most people his size cannot work like him. Brian Cage is going to be a big deal on AEW Dynamite, in the months that follow.

Kudos to the AEW Dynamite commentary team in elevating young Will Hobbs by telling us his story and giving this match a very special touch. This was the key ingredient that was missing in the case of Serpentico.
