Many were surprised when WWE and Tay Conti parted ways, because she has all of the ingredients that would have made her a big star in the company. However, Vince McMahon's loss was Tony Khan's gain, and we all waited impatiently for her to get signed to All Elite Wrestling. Her first big AEW Dynamite match after getting signed was against Nyla Rose, and it was a match where she came up very short.

Of course, Nyla Rose should have won the match against Tay Conti, but let's be fair, her first big match on AEW Dynamite shouldn't have been against Rose, but against someone else whom she could have pinned.
Also, it seems like we will be getting Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose again, in the following episodes of AEW Dynamite and while they do have good chemistry when working one another, it just feels like it was just moments ago when we saw the two of them tussle. Far too soon!
