Had the match between Jon Moxley and The Butcher happened in the middle of the card instead of in the AEW Dynamite main event spot, it would probably not have made the 'worst' list at all. But honestly speaking, this was not an exciting contest on paper and there was just no chemistry between the two performers in the AEW Dynamite main event. It was an okay match and the worst part is that there was no storyline build to the contest as well, meaning that there was no emotional investment for fans in the AEW Dynamite main event.

Good showing from the Butcher here. Main event wasn't as strong as last week but enjoying how well AEW has booked Moxley as champion. #AEWDynamite#AEWonTNT
One has to wonder whether Ricky Starks and Darby Allin should have main-evented the show because of the performance they had. Even the FTR match with SCU, while not extraordinary, had more of a build to it and wouldn't have been the worst fit for the AEW Dynamite main event spot. The Butcher vs. Moxley just didn't work.
Jericho vs. Kassidy on the other hand...
