Jon Moxley (C) vs Lance Archer (No DQ match for the AEW World Championship) on AEW Dynamite
Jon Moxley was in no mood to play around and went right after Lance Archer as soon as he got into the ring, not even waiting for the bell. Moxley dodged a clothesline and planted Archer with a Paradigm Shift right away. The AEW Dynamite main event briefly spilled out to ringside where Archer took control.

Back in the ring, Moxley threw a clothesline at Archer that stopped him in his tracks but wasn't enough to take him down. Archer tossed the champ out of the ring and followed him out, taking out a table from underneath the ring.
Moxley and Archer traded strikes in the ring. Archer floored the champion with a right hand. Moxley replied with a release German Suplex with the challenger looking a little shaky. Moxley took out a number of chairs and got into the ring.
The champion tossed a chair at Lance Archer's face before setting up two more in the middle of the ring. Moxley went for a Death Valley Driver but Archer broke out and chokeslammed the champion through two chairs. Moxley went for a suicide dive but Archer tossed a garbage can at him before he could launch himself.
Moxley then hit Archer with a low blow with both men on the apron. Mox then hit a Paradigm Shift through two tables set up at ringside.
Back in the ring, Moxley locked in the Bulldog Choke but it couldn't put Archer away. The finish saw Archer hit Moxley with the Blackout but Moxley reversed Archer's attempted pin to get the win and retain his title in a hard hitting AEW Dynamite main event.
