Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy on AEW Dynamite in a $7000 Obligation Match
Orange Cassidy started the AEW Dynamite match at a tremendous pace, taking the match to Jericho. It was all Orange early on and he was in full control. The match spilled out to ringside and Cassidy whipped Chris Jericho into the barricade before catching him with a forearm.
The wily veteran Chris Jericho took back control of the match, hitting Cassidy with a forearm on the apron before following it up with his trademark springboard dropkick. Jericho continued pounding Cassidy during the ad break.

Cassidy wasn't down for too long. He hit back with a strike from the top rope followed by a Dragon Screw. Jericho then locked in the Liontamer out of nowhere. Cassidy tried to reach the ropes but had to change tactics and applied a small package for a 2 count.
Jericho then went to grab his trusted baseball bat but referee Mike Chioda stopped him. Orange Cassidy replied with a Superman Punch to Jericho and both men went down.
Proud and Powerful tried to interfere but they were stopped by Best Friends. With the referee distracted, Jake Hager ran into the ring and slammed Cassidy with the Spinebuster. Jericho went for the pin but Cassidy managed to kick out.
The finish saw Cassidy pin Jericho in a mousetrap combination for the win on AEW Dynamite.
