Cody and The Blade started off the AEW match, locking up before Cody forced him into the corner, making a clean break before continuing with punches in the corner. The Blade couldn't keep up with Cody and was forced to tag in The Butcher. Cody tagged in his partner in turn.
Marshall was stopped in his track by The Bunny who grabbed his foot from ringside. While Marshall was distracted, The Blade launched himself through the ropes, taking him out. The Blade and The Butcher dominated Marshall until Cody was tagged back in.
Cody and Marshall showed great teamwork at this point and came close to winning the match. Marshall hit The Blade with a Cross Rhodes of his own followed by a Swanton Bomb for the near-fall. The Butcher sent Cody face-first into the mat at this point before they turned their attention to Marshall. The Butcher and the Blade finished Marshall off with a vertical suplex/backstabber combo for the win.
