The AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida was in action next against Diamante, who won a chance to challenge the champion after beating Ivelisse last week on AEW Dynamite.
Shida went for a handshake before the match started but Diamante didn't have any of it. Shida replied by taking Diamante down and followed it up with a ground and pound. The action briefly headed outside the ring after this. Shida hung Diamante up on the barricade and hit a running knee-lift.

Back in the ring, Shida was still in control. Diamante finally got some momentum behind her, hitting the champ with a modified Stunner. Shida was soon back in it with a delayed vertical suplex.
Shida followed it up with her patented running knee strikes, bouncing off the ropes and catching Diamante in the side of the head. That was all she wrote for Diamante and Hikaru Shida pinned her for another massive win.
