AEW Dynamite Results: Matt Hardy debuts in insane street fight, Jake Roberts brings a snake inside the ring

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley was back in action against Frankie Kazarian, who was in his first singles match since January 2019.

Kazarian didn't back down from the champion as the two men went back and forth to start off the match. Kazarian locked in a side-headlock early on but Moxley fought back to his feet and both men traded chops. Kazarian took the champion down again.

Moxley got back to his feet again as both men exchanged right hands. Kazarian hit the champ with an armdrag before he himself got dumped out of the ring onto the entrance ramp.

We saw Moxley dominate Kazarian during the ad break, hitting him with a release vertical suplex before locking in a modified sleeper hold.

Back from the break. Moxley hit Kazarian with a running knee, forcing him to roll out of the ring. Mox headed to the top rope and leaped off at Kazarian but got caught with a massive boot. Back in the ring, Kazarian hit a DDT for a nearfall. Moxley repled with a German Suplex. Kazarian didn't stay down for long and hit a Backstabber followed by an Inverted Double Underhook Facebuster for a nearfall.

Moxley kicked out and went for the Paradigm Shift but it was blocked. Moxley threw a nasty clothesline and nearly beheaded his opponent. Kazarian still attempted to roll the champion up but it was another nearfall. He followed it up by Suplexing Moxley into the turnbuckle. Moxley then found an opening and hit the Paradigm Shift out of nowhere to pick up the win.

Moxley was assaulted by members of The Dark Order after the match. Scorpio Sky and Christopher Daniels came out to try and help Moxley but they got destroyed for their troubles. The Dark Order turned their attention back to Moxley as Brodie Lee made his way out with a steel chair. Lee smashed the chair into Christopher Daniels before getting into the ring and hitting Moxley with a Discus Clothesline.

Lee took a mic and said that he was there to answer the bounty Moxley put on his own head. Brodie Lee then said that he wasn't the same person Moxley had looked in the eye before. He then challenged Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Moxley accepted the challenge without hesitation before Lee booted him in the head again and unleashed The Dark Order.
