Next up on AEW Dynamite was QT Marshall facing the unenviable task of facing Lance Archer in singles action. This follows last week's Dynamite where Lance Archer destroyed QT's tag-team partner Dustin Rhodes in the semi-final of the TNT Championship tournament.

Archer looked at his vicious best tonight as he unloaded on QT Marshall in the early stages of the match. QT low bridged Archer, sending him crashing out of the ring. Marshall then launched himself at Archer which turned out to be a bad idea. Archer caught Marshall by the throat and chokeslammed him onto the apron.

Back in the ring, Archer was totally dominant. He had QT in a headlock before he literally stood on his neck. The Murderhawk continued to boot QT in the corner before booting him out of the ring.

Marshall found a brief opening as Archer was getting back into the ring, hitting him with a handstand enziguiri. He followed it up with a vertical suplex before heading to the top rope. His momentum didn't last as Archer wiped him with a running tackle. Archer followed it up with The Blackout before pounding QT's head into the mat.

Britt Baker attacked Brandi Rhodes at ringside, hitting her with a DDT onto the floor before rolling her into the ring. Jake Roberts brought a snake into the ring at this point and put the snake on Brandi Rhodes.
