Tay Conti wrestled for the first time on AEW Dynamite tonight, after signing her AEW contract yesterday. However, she had a tough task ahead of her as she faced former AEW Women's Champion Nyla Rose.
Nyla Rose had the overwhelming advantage in size and power but Tay Conti didn't hold back. Even though Rose dominated the early stages of the match, Conti was soon back in it with a rising knee strike at ringside.

Back in the ring, Tay Conti went to hit a sunset flip bomb but Nyla Rose blocked it and replied with a Beast Bomb to pick up the win.

Nyla Rose was about to punish Tay Conti some more but the AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida came out with a kendo stick and put an end to it. It looks like we could see Nyla Rose versus Hikaru Shida as the next feud for the AEW Women's Championship going forward.
