AEW Dynamite Results: The Young Bucks and Hangman Page return, Matt Hardy gets a shot at revenge

Matt Hardy was out looking for revenge after The Inner Circle's actions last week on Dynamite where they destroyed Vanguard 1. Matt Hardy was all over Sammy Guevara as the match began and for its early stages, including Hardy smashing Guevara into the ring post.

As the match went on, Guevara found an opening and the action spilled out to ringside again as Sammy Guevara sent Hardy crashing into the barricade before taking his turn to smash Hardy into the ring post. Back in the ring, Guevara continued to dominate.

Matt Hardy took back control of the match as we came back from an ad break, sending Sammy headfirst into the turnbuckle repeatedly. Guevara replied with a series of stiff kicks including a nasty superkick right to the jaw.

Hardy hit back with a Twist of Fate but Guevara kicked out at the last second. He focused his attention on Guevara's leg, taking off his boot and biting him. Guevara replied with a springboard cutter from the top rope for another nearfall. Matt Hardy followed this up with a second Twist of Fate to finally pin Sammy Guevara.

Chris Jerico showed up on the big screen after this and we saw the Inner Circle attacking Kenny Omega with a steel chair. The Young Bucks made their return to AEW Dynamite and evened the odds. However, the numbers game seemed to be too much for them to handle. Just in time, Hangman Page made his long-awaited return to AEW Dynamite, joining in the fight against The Inner Circle
