AEW Dynamite Results: TNT Championship on the line, FTR's in-ring debut

Both men went back and forth as the match began. The AEW TNT Champion Cody locked in a Dragon Sleeper pretty early into the match before driving Quen out to ringside and working on his ankle. Back in the ring, Quen went for a springboard but his leg gave way. Cody continued going after Quen's ankle and knee, driving it into the ring post.

Quen briefly fought back with a kick to the head. He followed it up with a springboard from the middle rope and then a standing moonsault. He followed it up with a corkscrew into a DDT for a nearfall. Quen followed it with a dive over the top ropes but this only hurt his leg more. Quen followed it with a second dive but this only left him in more agony.

Quen then headed to the top rope but Cody rolled out onto the entrance ramp. This didn't deter Quen and he hit a 450 Splash onto the ramp.

Quen headed to the top rope again but Cody countered it with a submission on the injured leg, forcing him to tap out.

Jake Hager came out and attacked Cody after the match. Private Party and Matt Hardy came out to back Cody up. This led to more members of the Inner Circle coming out to join the brawl. The Inner Circle were eventually driven off, includng a Twist of Fate from Matt Hardy to Sammy Guevara.
