I love how MJF broke the fourth wall at the very start of AEW Fyter Fest 2020 when he addressed the ratings war between NXT and AEW in a pretty excellent promo. I didn't even mind the match that unfolded between Wardlow and MJF against the Jurassic Express at Fyter Fest either but I have a problem with how it ended.
I just don't think this is the right time to turn Wardlow face considering how the match played out overall. For the AEW audience to gravitate towards Wardlow as a babyface after Fyter Fest 2020, he needed a 'build' where he could display elements of his personality, quite honestly.

But I didn't mind it for what it was and if anyone can get Wardlow over as a babyface, it is MJF who is probably the best heel in all of wrestling at the moment.
Also, be sure to check out Sportskeeda's own Tom Colohue's thoughts on AEW Fyter Fest and 2020 whether WWE deliberately booked 'Great American Bash' as a counter program.
