Joey Janela made an alleged social media faux pas last week when he tweeted about refusing to go on AEW Dynamite, but it's possible that was just part of a work. Later on, he challenged Jon Moxley to a match, and that's now scheduled to take place on next week's AEW Dynamite.

Meanwhile, there was a feud in the works between Joey Janela and Kip Sabian. Sabian is currently dating Janela's ex, Penelope Ford, in real life and it looks like a feud was teased because there is real-life heat between the trio. In a segment with Golden Boy on AEW, Ford dropped a little hint and said,

"Why be bad. When you could be SUPERbad?"

This was an obvious reference to The Bad Boy Joey Janela. For the most part, it makes sense that this feud should happen. But it seems like Janela turned it down. According to WrestleTalk, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this feud is not happening any time soon.

“Right now there are no plans for a Joey Janela vs. Kip Sabian program. Penelope Ford just slipped the line in on the PPV interview and when Janela tweeted that he wouldn’t do that program, that was legit.”

At the moment, Janela is still very much involved in a feud with Shawn Spears who cost him his place in the Battle Royal a couple of weeks ago. There are still questions left to be answered in that feud.

It doesn't make sense to start another feud till Janela is done with Spears. It's also more likely that Spears could interfere in his match with Moxley, and wrestling fans will tune in to the next episode of AEW Dynamite to find out.
