Kevin Owens' heel turn continued on SmackDown when he had a physical altercation with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and also targeted Randy Orton, assaulting him backstage. Friday's incident will certainly start a feud between KO and The Viper, leading to a match either on SmackDown or a future premium live event, like Crown Jewel 2024 or Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
Kevin Owens had no direction lately, as he could not beat The Bloodline, while he failed to dethrone Cody Rhodes. With that in mind, his heel turn allows him to work on new storylines, and in this article, we take a look at three superstars the former Universal Champion could target next apart from The Viper and The American Nightmare.
#3. Nick Aldis

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has a lot of issues to deal with when it comes to a potential Bloodline Civil War, especially after the return of Roman Reigns, and now Jimmy Uso.
Now, with Kevin Owens assaulting both Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, it is likely that he will sanction KO for his actions.
Thus, it would not come as a surprise if KO turned on him and targeted him, as Nick Aldis is a face in WWE, while he has already hinted at a return to the ring for the first time since taking over the General Manager role on SmackDown a year ago.
#2. Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso came back to WWE after a six-month hiatus and reunited with Roman Reigns in his war against Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. Jimmy and Roman have to deal with the numbers game, but Kevin Owens could be an additional issue for them.
KO has unfinished business with the original Bloodline, meaning that he could target Jimmy Uso now that the latter is back, aiming for vengeance for all that happened when Roman Reigns was the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Additionally, such a storyline could lead to Kevin Owens siding with Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, where Team Solo will likely clash with Team Roman. On that occasion, KO would be revealed as the fifth member of Team Solo.
#1. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn failed to dethrone Gunther and become the new World Heavyweight Champion and is now in search of a new storyline. He has been linked to a move to SmackDown and a potential reunion with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, as he was a member of the original Bloodline.
Unless he has a heel turn, there are not many things Sami can do on RAW, except for siding with Jey Uso to go after Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championship.
On the other hand, a move to SmackDown could pave the way for new storylines and more specifically a feud with Kevin Owens, especially if Zayn reunites with the original Bloodline ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
This would not be the first time that the two friends would turn against each other, but it is a plan that WWE could follow since Sami is a babyface and KO is now a heel.
