Bobby Lashley has moved to AEW after parting ways with WWE. He became the fourth superstar to move from one top promotion to the other after Ricochet, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin.

Bobby Lashley was a free agent since the summer before eventually signing a deal with Tony Khan to join AEW. However, his departure could force WWE CCO Triple H to bring Brock Lesnar back sooner than expected.

The Beast Incarnate was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam 2023 when his rivalry with Cody Rhodes ended. Since then, his alleged involvement in the Vince McMahon scandal has kept him away from the business for more than a year.

But, with Bobby Lashley in WWE, could we see Brock Lesnar back?

Triple H has already hinted at a Brock Lesnar return

14 months after his last WWE appearance, fans wonder whether the former world champion will return soon.

Triple H, though, had hinted at a Brock return when he was asked to update Lesnar's status. In a conversation with the New York Post, he said:

"Right now, Brock is home being Brock, and we’ll see where that leads to from here. The status is the same as it’s been before. Brock is not gone from WWE, he’s just home being Brock," Triple H said in April.

Despite Triple H's assurance, Lesnar will stay out of action unless lawyers clear him for his alleged involvement in the lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

Brock Lesnar could re-ignite feuds if he comes back to WWE

Bringing back Brock Lesnar would allow Triple H and WWE to re-ignite feuds and increase the fans' interest ahead of the remaining premium live events in 2024.

The Beast Incarnate has unfinished business with top superstars like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes. He could work with each of these stars for a short-term feud before the Royal Rumble in 2025.

In addition, he could get involved in the John Cena retirement tour or have a dream match with the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, with WWE hinting at that match.

WWE has to find replacements for Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed

Braun Strowman is expected to miss time due to a torn groin he sustained during the Last Monster Standing Match last Monday. Meanwhile, with Seth Rollins back, Bronson Reed's push will likely be over, meaning the creative team needs another monster to step up.

And this big man could be Brock Lesnar, who could stay around until The Monster Among Men is back to fill that spot while re-igniting his feud with Braun, who is currently a face.
