This week's WWE SmackDown will feature Money in the Bank qualifiers, Cody Rhodes possibly addressing The Bloodline's ambush at Clash at the Castle, and a special appearance from WWE RAW Superstar CM Punk.

The Voice of the Voiceless was absent from the latest episode of WWE RAW, during which Drew McIntyre announced he was done and quit the Stamford-based company. The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown is at Allstate Arena in Chicago. Since it's Punk's hometown, he is scheduled for the blue show.

While it may seem like The Scottish Warrior has quit WWE, it could be a way to throw CM Punk off his trail. When Punk is making an appearance on the blue show, Drew McIntyre can break into his home and threaten AJ Lee (a former WWE Superstar and CM Punk's wife). The scene can unfold via satellite on the Titantron at Allstate Arena for The Second City Saint to see.

AJ can be shown scared yet standing her ground while Punk watches in despair. This can be the final straw before Punk and McIntyre finally face off in the squared circle.

The Voice of the Voiceless will likely give an update about his in-ring return and medical clearance on Friday Night SmackDown. So, right after Drew McIntyre is shown infiltrating Punk and AJ Lee's house, The Best in the World can announce that he is medically cleared to return to the ring and challenge The Scottish Warrior immediately.

All in all, these are just mere speculations at the moment, and fans will have to tune in to Friday Night WWE SmackDown to witness what goes down when CM Punk makes his return to Chicago.

A wrestling veteran is not a fan of The Bloodline's booking on WWE SmackDown

Currently, The Bloodline is entangled in a feud with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Before Clash at the Castle, Randy Orton saved The Prizefighter from the faction's attack and laid them out single-handedly. Former WWE writer Vince Russo did not like this booking decision, claiming The Bloodline is supposed to receive continuous heat.

"The first thing I saw was the big, bad, everybody fears, top of the third Bloodline on Friday night. Then I saw one guy come out and lay out the entire Bloodline. I am supposed to be afraid of this faction? Randy Orton came out. One guy laid out every single member of The Bloodline. The idea for the Bloodline is to get continuous heat. Like NWO."

The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown will heavily shape the Money in the Bank match card and pave the path for future rivalries.
