Alberto Del Rio to appear at AAA's iPPV event against WWE SummerSlam

Former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio, who was released by the WWE recently for inappropriate professional conduct recently, will be at AAA’s TripleMania iPPV event on Sunday at Arena Ciudad in Mexico City.

It was confirmed tonight by Joaquin Roldan of Mexico’s AAA promotion although he did not specify what Del Rio’s role will be.

It’s possible that Del Rio can make just an appearance without breaking his 90-day non-compete clause with WWE.

The SummerSlam pay-per-view will be going down on the same night and it is highly unlikely that Del Rio will engage himself in any wrestling action on the opposite side of his former company.
