The current phase may not be the best of times for the WWE Creative, who have been on a frantic plan-changing spree since Seth Rollins got injured.
The main focal point is obviously Survivor Series, but plans are also being set in place for WrestleMania 32. It was reported earlier about The Rock not being able to wrestle at the grandest stage of them all due to issues cropping up with an insurance company regarding a movie.
The company was apprehensive about Rock wrestling, as it would put his health at risk, and in turn put the movie he is a part of in jeopardy. In spite of that, Rock was speculated to make an appearance in a non-wrestling capacity, by being part of a segment.
According to sources close to the Rock, even the said non-wrestling angle is in doubt.
It is because The Great One has a movie filming that coincides with the dates of WrestleMania. Apparently, the filming is scheduled during WrestleMania weekend and Rock appearing in Dallas is completely unsure at the moment.
It was also added, that even though an appearance seems like a tough possibility to execute, it still can be done. Expect WWE to renegotiate with all the parties involved in the coming few months, as Vince would be hell bent on having Rock at WM 32.
- Randy Orton, who got married this week, has been recuperating from a lingering shoulder injury at home.
Although his wedding would have gotten a lot of smiles on his face, the same doesn’t hold true when it comes to the status of his injury. If the word from people close to Orton is to be believed, his shoulder injury is actually quite serious.
As Orton as wrapped up his wedding, expect the Viper to go under the knife soon to fix his shoulder. The seriousness of his injury could very well mean a big layoff, which ain’t good news for both Orton and the WWE.
