WWE Clash at the Castle is just two days away. The event will emanate live from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland this Saturday. The company has announced five title matches for the event so far.
Apart from that, the creative team could have some big surprises in store for fans at the event, which could lay down the foundations of some new feuds and storylines.
How would things pan out on Saturday? Here are four bold predictions for WWE Clash at the Castle 2024:
#4. Chad Gable quits WWE
After Becky Lynch and Ricochet, another top name could be on the verge of leaving WWE. The superstar in question is Chad Gable.
Gable will lock horns with Sami Zayn on Saturday at WWE Clash at the Castle. However, this could be The Alpha Academy leader's final appearance in the company.
For fans unaware, Gable's WWE contract has reportedly expired. Given that, there are speculations of him leaving the Stamford-based promotion for greener pastures.
If that is indeed the case, the RAW superstar could wrestle his final match in WWE on Saturday. The company could have Gable lose to Sami due to Otis turning on him, writing him off WWE TV.
#3. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens take on The Bloodline at WWE Clash at the Castle
Kevin Owens will clash with Solo Sikoa on Friday's SmackDown. However, potential interference from The Bloodline in the match could be on the cards.
If so, Randy Orton could return to help The Prizefighter even the odds. This potential angle could lead to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis booking Kevin Owens & Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga for WWE Clash at the Castle.
Given the previous encounter between the two teams at Backlash ended controversially due to Tonga Loa's interference, a potential rematch makes sense.
#2. CM Punk costs Drew McIntyre a potential win
Drew McIntyre will lock horns with Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title on Saturday. However, things may not end well for The Scottish Psychopath as he could succumb to a defeat due to CM Punk's interference.
The Voice of the Voiceless is currently involved in an angle with McIntyre. Punk cost Drew his title at WrestleMania 40, and could once again make his presence felt during the World Title match to cost him a potential win.
#1. Hikuleo costs Cody Rhodes his title
Tama Tonga's half-brother, Hikuleo's contract with NJPW recently expired and the real-life Bloodline member is rumored to make his WWE debut soon. While it will be of interest to see what the company has in store for him, one potential direction could see the 6ft 8inch monster make his debut on Saturday.
Solo Sikoa earlier revealed that he has Cody Rhodes in check and The American Nightmare isn't even aware of it. Given that, it could be that The Enforcer has been secretly planning Cody's demise.
Solo could have Hikuleo debut at WWE Clash at the Castle as the newest member of The Bloodline to cost Cody his title.
