Becky Lynch’s title reign seems like a distant memory

Becky Lynch is perhaps the talent most in need of a win in the Women’s Money In The Bank match this Sunday. She has certainly lost momentum since being Smackdown’s first female draft after the brand split and becoming the inaugural Smackdown Live Women’s Champion.

The ‘Irish Lass Kicker’ almost became an afterthought during the Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss feud. Things have only got worse for her since the ’Superstar shake-up’ and Charlotte is now seen as the star of Tuesday nights in terms of female talent.

If WWE want to use Lynch as a major player in Smackdown Live’s Women’s division in the coming months, then giving her the Money In The Bank briefcase could be a good start in rebuilding her.

It would also result in a fresh development in her character. Instead of the woman that ‘fights the good fight’ and is honest and hard-working, putting the briefcase over her competition would give a Lynch a new, competitive edge, that will freshen up her persona.
