Arrest warrant issued for WWE Hall of famer Sunny

Sunny WWE arrest
WWE Hall of Famer Sunny in trouble with the law again

We had reported on WWE Hall of famer Sunny’s legal troubles following her latest DUI (Driving Under the Influence) charge back in May of this year. In the latest development, she has been ordered to go to trial on the charges of careless driving, driving with a suspended license and DUI. A pre-trial conference is also scheduled for December 1st in Carbon County, PA where the status of her case will be reviewed involving the prosecution and her lawyers.

The order means that if Sunny and the prosecution can’t come to an agreement by then, she would need to stand before a jury on December 7th.

Sunny was arrested for the charges stemming from the incident in May, when the authorities pulled her up in the wee hours of the morning, driving under the influence of alcohol and was seen hitting a curb. Upon testing, her blood alcohol test showed alcohol content of .253%, three times over the permissible limit. Following her failure to appear at hearings on July 29th and August 21st, she was scheduled to appear on September 3rd where she again failed to appear causing a bench warrant to be issued in her name.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

Other than that, Sunny has two more pending cases from her arrests on June 1st and June 20th.

It has been a classic case of a success story hitting ‘rock-bottom’ in her case, as Sunny is credited to be the original ‘Diva’ after being the most searched entity online in 1996. Following her departure from the WWE after being involved in several memorable angles in the WWE, her career and life has slowly but steadily spiralled out of control with her being let go off from various wrestling promotions following stories of substance abuse and unprofessional conduct in many places.

Despite all of that, it seemed like a turnaround was on the cards after she was inducted into the WWE Hall of fame in 2011, as part of a class that also included Shawn Michaels among other elite names. However, since then, she has jumped from one controversy after another, including in her latest career where she offers private Skype sessions for paying customers.
