In the world of professional wrestling, there are many young rising superstars, who have already cemented their name as one of the best wrestlers in the entire business. When we think of names of such wrestlers, the name of Austin Theory certainly does ring a bell.

Austin Tyler White aka Austin Theory is an American professional wrestler, who is currently signed with the WWE and is a part of the Smackdown roster. Austin Theory is a former two-time WWE United States Champion and also a former Money in the Bank winner.

Austin Theory’s Height

The height of Austin Theory is around 6 feet 1 inches or 1.85 meters, and he weighs around 100 kg. As of Sep 2023, Austin is a part of the Smackdown roster, where he is in a newly formed tag team with his partner Grayson Waller. In his career thus far, Austin has had many great moments, he has been in a segment with many legendary superstars including The Rock, John Cena, Edge, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Before his journey as a WWE Superstar began, he was a part of many independent wrestling promotions. In 2016, He joined a wrestling promotion named WWA4 under the ring name Austin Theory and won the WWA4 Heavyweight Championship by defeating A. R. Fox. In 2017, he joined another wrestling promotion named Progress Wrestling, where he faced Jason Kincaid, Keith Lee, and Blaster McMassive at a Progress and Evolve joint show. Austin Theory also joined an independent promotion named Full Impact Pro, where he won the FIP World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Fred Yehi.

Austin Theory’s WWE Career

Austin Theory joined the WWE in 2019 and signed a developmental deal with them. He was initially assigned to WWE Performance Center, where he started training for his in-ring debut. He made his in-ring debut in an episode of NXT, where he accepted the open challenge of the NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong. His first victory came in 2020 when he defeated Joaquin Wilde. In the same year, Austin Theory became a part of a faction named The Way which included Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell.

He made his main roster debut in 2021 and was put in a storyline with Vince McMahon, the storyline was based on Austin being the prodigy of Vince. He won his first WWE title when he defeated Finn Balor to become the new United States Champion. Austin lost his US title against Bobby Lashley at the 2022 Money In the Bank PPV, and on the same night, he was placed in the Men's Money In the Bank Ladder match, where he became the Mr. Money in the Bank.

However, he was unable to successfully cash in his MITB contract. He won his second US title when he defeated Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a triple-threat match at the 2022 Survivor Series. After reigning as US Champion for 258 days, Austin Theory lost his title when he was defeated by the WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
