If you have been following the hottest news and rumors here at Sportskeeda from the world of WWE, you will know that Brock Lesnar is slated to make a return very soon. And yes, while fans have been fixated on a match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, it would be weird to not do a clash between Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship first.
There is a readymade storyline already if you consider the fact that Brock Lesnar does not usually lose his matches and comes back for retribution when he does. And therefore, I think that it will be a while before Drew McIntyre loses the WWE Championship before this storyline comes to fruition.
Paul Heyman has been relieved of his backstage duties in WWE, as you guys are well aware and the company will want to make full use of him as a performer because he remains one of the best in the business.
It's almost a certainty that Brock Lesnar will return to WWE, at some point after Backlash and Drew McIntyre could definitely be in his crosshairs.
