WWE officials are currently high on Eva Marie and feel she is a marketable superstar

- As noted, WWE officials are currently high on NXT Diva Eva Marie, as they feel she is a very marketable superstar, and it’s even been reported that she might be in line for a title feud with Bayley. According to The Wrestling Observer, one of the reasons why WWE officials want to give Eva a run with the NXT Womens title is because they feel it will validate her. The idea would be Eva becomes champion to tell the story of how she’s able to prove her critics wrong through hard work. It will be interesting to see what happens with her NXT Women’s Title reign seeing how the NXT crowds react to her.

- Going into tonight’s RAW match against Charlotte, WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella has had just one title defense since June 14th, which was against Paige and Tamina Snuka at the July 4th “Beast In The East” WWE Network special from Tokyo. Tonight we again saw Nikki retain the title, which might probably be due to the influence of her boyfriend John Cena. However fans would really like to see a title change just because of how annoying she is as a heel.

It’s very likely that WWE wants to do the title change, but if Cena’s influence allowed Nikki to keep it on Raw, then it won’t help her at Night Of Champions. It is very much likely that Nikki would drop the title to Charlotte at the pay-per-view. Nikki had previously tied with AJ Lee for the Women’s Championship reign at 295 days. After today’s win over Charlotte, Nikki holds the record for the longest reigning Women’s Champion ever.
