Backstage reports indicate concern over Luke harper getting lost in the shuffle when Erick Rowan had to bow out due to an injury. A directive was put out by the WWE to its creative team to find something meaningful for the Luke Harper character to be a part of, as the WWE wanted to invest in him. This directive was issued before Harper aligned himself back with Wyatt.
