Backstage praise for 'Hurricane' in TNA, update on TNA cancelling event, Why is Shera being pushed?

Shane Helms doing well in backstage TNA role

- Shane Helms, most popularly known for his ‘Hurricane’ gimmick in the WWE, has been working in TNA as a backstage agent. He was responsible for the main-event at the recent TNA Bound for Glory pay-per-view involving Matt Hardy, Drew Galloway and Ethan Carter III for the TNA world title.

Helms has been getting a lot of praise for his work in the new role, with the general belief being that he has been able to bring in a fresh approach to putting together matches and their presentation. Helms was always a good worker and by the looks of it, has managed to translate that into his work as a backstage agent.

- The ‘Hardcore Halloween’ live event tour planned by TNA was cancelled by the company, which led many to believe that it was due to the low ticket sales and the oft-speculated financial issues. The planned tour was changed to a one night only taping, the reason being as per TNA sources that since the plans changed and there was no need for anything to be taped, the decision was made to cancel the whole tour.

While TNA has offered to pay the talent partial pay for the cancelled tour, some talents aren’t too happy with it as they would have rather worked the tour than sit at home.

- We have been reporting on TNA touring India this year with episodes being taped for Impact wrestling. With a company such as TNA, with all its financial troubles, the questions arose on the financing of the tour.

However, it has come to light that TNA’s India broadcast partner Sony Six is the one behind the tour’s financing. Six has been offering TNA wrestling in the country for a couple of years now and with the addition of Mahabali Shera, has come up with the idea of the tour, with Shera being pushed as the result.
