Backstage update on Batista taking a break from the WWE

A feud that’s not ending anytime soon – Evolution vs. Shield

There were rumours that Batista was supposed to be taking some time off to promote Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and not be a part of WWE Payback.

But according to WrestleZone, Batista could be staying with the WWE through Payback. And this definitely does make sense, since the feud between the Evolution and the Shield isn’t even close to getting over.

This feud could last until Payback which will be live on June 1. After that, Batista could be away from the company until SummerSlam.

Will The Shield be the ones to shelve Batista, or will Triple H and Randy Orton turn on him?

The last could end up backfiring, because well, the company tried to bring him back as a baby face already and it failed miserably.
