Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny has proved that he belongs in WWE with his outstanding performances inside the squared circle. Bad Bunny's last appearance on World Wrestling Entertainment programming was at Backlash in Puerto Rico, where he faced Damian Priest in a street fight when the latter was a heel and with The Judgment Day.
Since then, fans have been wondering when they will see Bad Bunny back on WWE television, with Road to WrestleMania 41 on the horizon. The 30-year-old pop star could return and start a much-awaited feud against another major celebrity superstar, Logan Paul, which might lead them to a mega-showdown at Show of Shows.
Former United States Champion Logan Paul himself planted seeds for the dream bout as he shared a recent quote from Bad Bunny’s interview with Rolling Stone, where the 30-year-old stated that he hadn't done enough in the ring and wanted to risk it all if he got one more chance.
"I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother. When? I don’t know. We stay in contact with the people at WWE, we’re always paying attention to what’s going on. But when, I don’t know. I hope there’s a time where I can really get ready, like I did the last few times. And I’d love to take more time to get ready physically."
Paul shared the statement from Bad Bunny on his Instagram story and also challenged Bunny to step inside the squared circle with him.
"Then get in the ring with me,” wrote Logan Paul.
Fans have been demanding Paul vs. Bunny for a long time to finally put an end to the conversation of who is the best celebrity superstar in the Stamford-based promotion, as the stars have proven they belong in the company.
Former WWE United States Champion may face major star at WWE WrestleMania 41
Logan Paul's last appearance in the Stamford-based promotion was at RAW’s debut on Netflix, and he last competed inside the ring was last year at SummerSlam 2024, where he lost his United States Championship to LA Knight.
The Maverick has expressed in an interview earlier that this year he’ll be dedicating himself fully to pro-wrestling and he seeks to clinch the world title. Some major matches are reportedly being pitched for the social media megastar. A bout against John Cena at WrestleMania 41 was reported recently.
As per sources, some within the promotion are even suggesting a feud between Logan Paul and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has in store for Logan Paul in the coming months and whether Bad Bunny and Paul will clash against one another this year.
