Batista removes tweet on WWE being a "B LEVEL STAR ERA"

Dave Batista has removed a tweet that appeared to be directed at WWE star Alberto Del Rio. Both Batista and Del Rio had been going back and forth on Twitter since Monday with Batista first asking who Del Rio was.

Del Rio replied that he was a big star for WWE while Batista was away fighting a plumber (refencing Batista’s first and only MMA fight back in October 2012).

Batista then replied, “Seems to me that some C level stars in a B level star era have bought into their own hype. Don’t turn a work into a shoot.”

That tweet has since been removed and another report stated that several in WWE were not exactly thrilled to read that with Batista set to return to television and be a big part of programming going forward in the coming months.
