David Michael Bautista Jr., going by his name of Batista, has been one of the most dominant wrestlers throughout his career in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Known as “The Animal” he was a fan favorite who physically dominated his opponents inside the squared circle.

Batista, in his initial pro wrestling years, competed at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) which was a developmental territory for the WWE from 2000-02. He made his WWE main roster debut on SmackDown on May 9, 2002, as a heel and an enforcer for Reverend D-Von. In his debut tag team match, he and Reverend D-Von defeated Randy Orton and Faarooq (Ron Simmons).
