In a recent interview with Kerrang.com to promote WWE’s UK tour, NXT Woman’s Champion Bayley discussed her favourite entrace tunes, the impact of her title on her career, along with a host of other topics – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.
On the topic of her favourite tunes, Bayley said: “Do I have to go in order? No? Steve Blackman, I don’t know why, I just thought it was so cool the way it started out. It doesn’t even have any lyrics, but I just loved it. This is embarrassing because he’s right there (motioning to Michael Hayes, ex-manager of The Hardy Boyz], but The Hardy Boyz.”
The wrestler also went on to mention that the themes of the Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, as well as the Undertaker, are all listed amongst her favourites.

When asked about how the title of NXT’s Woman’s Champion impacted her, Bayley replied: “It’s really important. Like, even when I first started to where it is now, it’s kind of like a whole different place.”
Bayley also stated that the Performace Centre plays a huge part in the making of stars, and NXT also had a more than modest role in moulding them. The wrestler also pointed out that WWE’s roster has its fair share of stars who made their bones with NXT.
And when it came to which talents to watch out for in the UK, the wrestler replied: “I’m a fan of Carmella, and Alexa Bliss, even with this new character she’s developed and everything.
Then you have Peyton Royce and Billy Kay, who I’ve known from before this, and I just know how much they love it and what they’re willing to do to be the best.”
The 26-year-old also singled out Finn Bálor, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable for praise, while stating that they’re all in an awesome space right now.
Bayley, whose real name is Pamela Martinez, began her wrestling career on the independant circuit, before being signed up by WWE’s NXT brand in 2012, which is where she got her real recognition.
The wrestler is the current NXT Woman’s Champion and has made the cut on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s top 50 female singles wrestlers list, achieveing an impressive rank on 11.
