On WWE SmackDown's latest episode, Bayley won a Fatal Four-Way match to become the number one contender for the WWE Women's Championship held by Tiffany Stratton. Bayley will now face the 25-year-old champion on next week's episode of the blue brand.

While Bayley will naturally be excited for this opportunity, there is a chance she will not face Stratton next week. A 40-year-old superstar could attack the former Damage CTRL member next week and send her to the hospital. The 40-year-old superstar who could carry out this attack is Nia Jax.

There are multiple reasons why Jax could do this. While she being the former champion is one reason, it's worth noting that Tiffany Stratton vs. Bayley is a face vs. face match. While Stratton is internally listed as a heel, it's evident that she is being turned face.

Hence, a feud between her and Bayley would not make much sense. That's why WWE could present an angle in which Nia Jax could go bonkers and attack Bayley backstage next week on SmackDown. This attack could then lead to the latter being written off television.

The reason why she could be written off television is so that she can move to Monday Night RAW. During the red brand's premiere on Netflix, Bayley was seen in conversation with Adam Pearce, which has fueled the speculation of of her potentially moving to the Monday night show.

Bayley sent a message to Tiffany Stratton ahead of their match on SmackDown next week

Way before Tiffany Stratton could win the WWE Women's Championship, Bayley had already won the title. However, her reign as champion came to an end at SummerSlam 2024 after Nia Jax beat her to win the title. But now, with Stratton as the new champion, Bayley once again has a chance to reclaim the title.

After the match was made official on the latest episode of SmackDown, Byron Saxton caught up with the challenger and informed her the match would take place next week. Reacting to the same, Bayley sent a strong message to Stratton.

She said:

"I mean my whole career has been of chances, right Byron? You know taking advantage of those chances, taking advantage of those opportunities like Nick Aldis going out there and telling us when we weren't prepared, that's what we are all about. Tiffany took her chance and beat Nia Jax last week. I have grown up in this business, I have known people like Tiffany Stratton my whole career and I have wrestled Tiffany Stratton all year long. And you know one thing? She has never beaten me."

In a high-stakes match like this, the challenger does have a massive advantage since Stratton has never been able to beat her. It will be interesting to see if the champion can register her first win against Bayley next Friday on SmackDown.
